Steven Lee Woodrum

Steven Lee Woodrum, 57, passed away on June 1st, 2021, after a hard- fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Steve was born January 18, 1964, in Wurzburg, Germany, and was a lifelong resident of Widefield and Colorado Springs.  He worked as an Assistant Manager for 7-11 for many years.

Steve spent much of his life growing up in Widefield, Colorado where he attended Watson Junior High and Widefield High School (Class of 1982).  While at Widefield H.S., Steve excelled in athletics and was a member of the track team that held a state record for many years.  Steve had a great love of music and was an extraordinarily gifted guitar player, playing in many rock n roll bands throughout the 80’s and 90’s.  Steve’s journey in life took on a very special purpose on July 4th, 2009 when he was baptized as a Jehovah Witness. He left this earth a humble man and faithful servant of God.

Steve is survived by his sister; Peggy L. Garcia, brothers; Anthony Woodrum (Deborah), Delman Woodrum Jr. (Corinne), and Kenneth Woodrum, nieces; Kathleen Gallegos, Christina McGeehan, Amanda Sewell, Marissa Woodrum, nephews; Justin Miller, Daniel Garcia, Gage Woodrum, Christian Woodrum, Aaron Woodrum, and multiple great nieces and great nephews.

Steve is preceded in death by his father Delman Woodrum Sr. and his mother Bernice L. Woodrum.
