John Stephen Sayers, of Colorado Springs, CO died at his home May 14, 2021 with his wife Diane at his side.  John was born in Colorado Springs on August 10, 1957, the son of the late Donna and Frank Sayers.

John graduated Palmer High School in 1975. He served in the US Air Force and later in the US Navy. He became a certified SCUBA diver and private pilot while in Guam.  He retired from the USPS in 2017.

John was a devoted friend and family member, always willing to lend a helping hand to others: whether it be wood working, building furniture, finances, computer technical information and ancestry.com research, which he avidly pursued for the family.

John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Sayers, his siblings, Lori Pinello, Martin Sayers, Rose (Bob) Salcetti and Beth (Bob) Chapman and numerous nieces and nephews.
