Vernon E. Steffensen
Retired Staff Sergeant Vernon Eugene Steffensen (Steff) went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2021 at home while surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 5, 1957 to Clarence D. Steffensen and Ruth E. Andrews in San Diego California. He was a loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Papa, and Great Grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his Father Clarence, Mother Ruth, Sister Leanna, Brother Dean, and Son Shawn.
He is survived by his loving Wife Karla, Sons Brian (Becky), Christopher (Deanna), Daniel (Debra), and Benny (Vanessa), Daughter (granddaughter) Chyleigh Marie, numerous nieces and nephews, Grandchildren Myrakle, Mia, Khaos, Angel, Haven, Nevaeh, several bonus grandchildren, and Great grandson Perseus.
Vernon was a true patriot who loved God, his Family, his guns, and his country. He was a man of all trades who loved working on Classic Cars. Vernon joined the military in 1975 and Retired in 1995 with multiple awards and achievements from the U.S. Army. Upon retirement he began working for Stresscon where he finished out his days. He is missed and loved beyond belief by anyone who had the pleasure to cross paths with and will remain dear to our hearts forever.
The services will be held at Foothills Missionary Church 2500 Busch Ave. Colorado Springs, Co 80904 on Saturday April 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
