Mary “Melissa” Mackey Gervell

May 29th, 1951 – March 17th, 2021

Melissa, 69, born in Enid, OK May 29th, 1951, peacefully passed away at her home in Colorado Springs, CO on March 17th, 2021. She is survived by her two sons and their spouses (Brian and Heather Gervell and Sean and Juanita Gervell) and her four grandchildren Jaxon, Benicio, Illiana and Landon. 

Memorial services will be performed at New Beginnings Fellowship in Colorado Springs, CO on April 11th at 3:00pm (MST). Please note, due to COVID restrictions, seating may be limited. If you are not able to attend the service in person due to COVID restrictons, you are welcome to view the service live online at https://www.gcfcs.org/ . Melissa loved fiercely – her family, friends, and those in need. In lieu of flowers, she would have wanted people to donate their time and efforts to a cause to help those in need within the community. Memorial donations may be made in Melissa’s name to one of the following charities:

– A local charity that provides help to single mothers and their children. 

– Your local food pantry 

– Your city’s local homeless shelter.
