James A Burton

James was born in Des Moines, Iowa, moved to Pueblo Colorado when he was 15 years old.  Graduated from Central High School in 1956.  Married Shirley Jean Cusick on May 15, 1958.

James worked at Begg’s Safe and Lock co, for over 20 years, before opening his own business with his wife, Affordable Locksmith Service for 20 years, until retirement in 2012.

James enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping, & Hiking in the Colorado Rockies.  James loved spending time in his shop tinkering with guns, reloading, woodwork, and many other hobbies.

James is survived by his wife, Shirley Burton, of nearly 63 years.  Son’s Keith (Katie) Burton, Raymond (Helen) Burton, and daughters Susan (DeWitt) French, Linda (Bruce) Mooney.  Leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, & 2 great great grandchildren.
