Victorine G Merriman

Vicki was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on December 7, 1947 to Tony and Bridget Vidmar.

Vicki grew up near the small town of Simla, Colorado on the family homestead. She went to school at Alta Vista and graduated in 1965.

Vicki attended Job Corps in Lincoln, Nebraska where she met the father of her children. The couple had two children together, Kelly and Rachel.  Vicki was a stay-at-home mom for many years. 

In 1992 Vicki married the love of her life Charles Merriman. He had two children from a previous marriage, Brenda and Charles Jr. Vicki and Charles loved all their children unconditionally. 

Vicki worked in the deli at Krogers in Katy, Tx for 15 years before she retired. She often joked that she worked a labor job so she would not have to do paperwork. She was a very hardworking woman who took pride in supporting her family. 

Vicki enjoyed playing card games with her family. She also enjoyed trying to beat her highest score in Pac-Man. She was very family oriented and spent much time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Vicki passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2021 at Advanced Healthcare in Colorado Springs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Bridget Vidmar; her sister, Theresa Inghan; her son, Charles Merriman Jr.; and her Husband, Charles Merriman Sr. She is survived by her siblings (Frank, Rose, Pat, and Monica), her children (Kelly, Rachel, and Brenda), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
