Crystal Anne Caldwell Bailey, 74, Colorado Springs, CO.
She was born December 12, 1946, to Warren David Caldwell and Marjorie Caldwell (Williams), whom both preceded her in death.
Crystal, being a military daughter, was raised and received her education in France. When she returned to the States, where her father was stationed at Camp Carson (Fort Carson), Colorado, she chose to complete her education at Pueblo Central High School and shortly after, moved to Philadelphia, PA to obtain a business degree and start her family. She returned to Pueblo, CO in the mid 80’s to raise her family. And in 1997, Crystal moved to Colorado Springs, CO where she remained until her death on December 12, 2020
Crystal was an accomplished pool player, and she loved playing cards. Her two favorite card games were Tonk and Spades. Loving a good sale, her and her sister, Donna, would spend hours grabbing all the good deals, every Saturday morning. Crystal loved to entertain, feeding folks and having a great time. But just as much as she wanted you there, she could not wait for you to leave. Crystal loved her solitude.
Crystal was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2011 and was Breast cancer survivor. Crystal had a good heart and an honest tongue. You knew not to cross her and if you did, you knew not to do it again. But she was also the person that would give you her last if you needed it more. Crystal did as good as she could with what she had, and she made it work. Every time.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Warren David Caldwell and Marjorie Caldwell (Williams); son Mason Caldwell; sister Donna Tilmon; two grandsons Trevon Bailey, Roynel Caldwell; niece Diana Tilmon; and her favorite cousin Geraldine Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter Elaina Bailey; granddaughters Amaya Bailey and Alyssa Caldwell; great-grandson Cameron Meadows; daughter-in-law Deborah Caldwell; niece Tyneika Thomas (Greg Thomas); nephews Anthony Tannahill, Antoine Tilmon and Daniel Tilmon (Torre Tilmon); a handful of cousins and close family members and a few friends sprinkled around.
Per Crystal’s request, cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19, a Celebration of life will be announced for 2021.
