Jacqueline “Jackie” Louise Esquibel, age 69 passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 due to hepatocellular cancer. She was born on October 5, 1951 in Dearborn, Michigan to Jack and Martha Geasley (Johnson.)
Jackie moved to Colorado Springs in the mid 70’s where she met her husband Bob, and they had four beautiful children. She enjoyed studying the bible and sharing about Jesus, spending time with family and friends, working, and in her downtime if she was not reading the bible, she loved watching the Hallmark channel as well as catching up on news, and spoiling her grandchildren with candy and love.
Jacqueline was a hard worker and a devoted mother, grandmother and follower of Christ. She was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2017 and fought very hard for 2.5 years. She showed her strength, grace and faith and will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She was proceeded in death by her father Jack Geasley, her mother, Martha Geasley (Johnson), brother James “Jimmy” Geasley, and sister Bertha Ruth Colangelo (Geasley.) She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” L. Esquibel, her four children Robert M. Esquibel II, Andreanna R. Esquibel, Alexis L. Govea (Esquibel), and Alexander J. Esquibel, her son in law Steve Govea, and her 7 grandchildren Serena R. Steele, Dean Wilborn, Christian M. Esquibel, Ava R. Esquibel, Elias D. Govea, Enrique A. Govea, and Amiya S. Esquibel.
Services for her celebration of life will be at Calvary Worship Center on November 19, 2020 at 11:00 am MT.
