Brad Cochran of Colorado Springs, CO died suddenly due to a freak accident on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Brad, whose full name was William Bradley Cochran, was the first child of William Lee and Laura Devine Cochran, was born on October 4, 1997 on the US Air Force Academy. Brad, whose father was in the Air Force, moved to Dunbar, NE at the age of 3. At the age of 8, Brad moved back to the Colorado Springs area and lived with his parents in Monument. Brad graduated from Palmer Ridge High School, Class of 2016. After high school, he received his Associates degree in Diesel Technology from Pikes Peak Community College in 2017 and went to work at Bruckner’s Truck Sales in Colorado Springs as a Diesel Mechanic. At the time of his death, Brad was the Superintendent for Milestone Grading and Drainage Company. Brad was also taking online course for a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management through Colorado State University – Pueblo
On August 24, 2019, Brad proposed to his true love, Sarah Burke of Castle Pines, CO and they were to be married on June 13, 2021.
Brad loved camping, hiking, fishing, hunting (in particular: duck hunting), the great outdoors and life in general. He loved taking things apart and fixing them. He was a born leader and was a Life Scout and Senior Patrol Leader in Boy Scout Troop 9, Monument, CO. Brad loved to travel and enjoyed eating food from all cuisines. He loved helping others, to a fault. Brad endeared himself to many of the families of his friends and will be sorely missed by many a soul.
Brad is survived by his father, William L (Will) Cochran and his mother, Laura Cochran of Monument, CO, his sister, Elizabeth Cochran of Fort Collins and his fiancé, Sarah Burke of Fort Collins.
A service of remembrance for Brad, will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11 AM at Crossroads Chapel, 840 North Gate Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80921
