Nancy Jo Mueller could be described in part as, "A person with a spontaneous or natural liking for all things found in a crowd of story tellers." The social butterfly would not allow a stranger to pass by without taking time to make an aquaintence. Or, "Has sympathy for someone or something unfamiliar to her." Nancy never passed a person in need without giving something, even if that was everything she had.
Nancy was very empathetic and emotionally invested in those who encountered her. She would charge forward into the unknown with trust as her compass. Nancy Mueller was delicate but unafraid.
A softball field in the summertime was a second home for Nancy. She played catcher on multiple teams and played catch, While wearing heels in the grass, with her son Maddox after games.
Nancy combined her love of baseball and singing by showcasing her talents in Chicago at Wrigley Field in front of 38,000 people. Nancy's confidence was evident as she sang the national anthem beautifully, fullfilling a promise Nancy made to her son Maddox, who tragically, is already awaiting Nancy's arrival.
Nancy leaves family and friends now only in body. We will carry the best parts of her with us.
