Jason LaRoy Sims Jr., 24, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away on July 2nd in Pueblo, Colorado in a motorcycle accident. Jason was born in Colorado Springs on January 1st, 1996 to Jason Sims and Sheri Swope. Jason, also known as J.J., is preceded in death by his mother Sheri Swope and his grandparents Erminio Arellano, Norma Swope, and David Mora.  J.J. is survived by his parents Jason Sims (Karen Sims) and James Swope, his grandparents Annie Arellano and Debby Mora; his siblings Robbie Sims, Alex Swope, Balize Sims (Josh Biddle), Larissa Swope, Kaylin Baker, Kory Palmer, Gabriella Griest, and Brooklynn Sims; and his nephews Riley Sims, Rylan Swope, and Oaklee Swope.

Jason was always a very happy person. He loved anyone he ever got close to and was there for everyone.  Just like his mother, he touched many lives. His smile will always be remembered by others, his laugh will still brighten up a room, and his touch will lighten up our hearts.
