William Michael McGirk (Mike) passed away peacefully on March 13, 2020 at the age of 70 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Mike was born in Los Angeles, California on November 8, 1949 to Frances and William McGirk.  Mike served in the United States Marines until September 1971.  He worked in the defense industry until his retirement in 2012.

His wife and sons were very important in his life, he played baseball briefly for the Dodgers, and he was an avid Broncos fan.  Mike leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Nancy, and sons Michael Spence McGirk (West Minster, CO), Ryan Daniel McGirk (Colorado Springs, CO), his soon-to-be daughter-in-law Kimi Shima, his step-son Matthew Meacham, and cousins.
