Amber Ann Comfort was born on January 27, 1983 in Salina, Kansas to Martha A. and Timothy K. Comfort. After a long hard battle with Breast Cancer Amber passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 6, 2020. Amber moved to Colorado at a young age, after falling in love with the mountains she knew this is where she wanted to start a family. She met, fell in love with, and married Matthew Lumpkins. Together they had two beautiful children Abigail Elaine Lumpkins,16 and Gabriel Matthew Lumpkins,14. Amber was a loving and caring nurturer. Devoting 10 years of her life working as a CNA at Penrose hospital. Amber loved the outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing, animals, taking a cruise in her car, and spending time with her family and friends. Amber was a hard working independent mother who always put her children first, she always put others before herself. Everyone who knew Amber fell in love with her beautiful smile and laugh. She did everything whole heartedly and we will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father Timothy K. Comfort. She is survived by her husband, two children and mother. Two brothers Matt and Sarah Comfort, Leoti, Kansas and Chance Seamans, Scott City, Kansas. Two sisters Elisha Smith, Arkansas and Destiny Johnson Leoti, Kansas. And her lifelong Best Friend/Sister Sophia and Elovio Maes Colorado Springs, Colorado. She will be in our hearts, Always and Forever.
