4/20/1950 – 9/11/2019

Martin Garcia Jr., 69, passed away on September 11, 2019.  Originally from Texas, he spent much of his life in Minnesota and North Dakota, and had been a resident of Colorado Springs, CO since 2002.  His family was the most important thing to him and his drive in life was making sure everyone around him was taken care of.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Martin served in the US Army from 1968-1976 and has mainly worked in manufacturing since then.

Martin is survived by his wife Sheri Garcia (Syverson), children Elise Garcia, Elizabeth Smith (James), Anthony Garcia (Sheena), Teresa Farmer (Dale), and his pride and joy, his grandchildren Gabriel Garcia, Kaden Smith, Andrew Garcia, Anthony Garcia Jr., Ethan Garcia, Dane Farmer, and Chantal Jones.  He is also survived by four of eight siblings Carol Garcia, Gloria Herrera, Sophia Estrada and Irene Garcia.   

A memorial service will be held at Alternative Cremation on Friday, September 27th at 10:00am.
