1976 ~ 2019

Steven Murschel died June 14th, 2019 after a nearly two-year battle with brain cancer.  He was born October 26, 1976 to Ivan and Helen (Smith) Murschel in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He graduated from Palmer High School in 1995 and from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2000.

Steven was married to Heather Field on August 5th, 2000 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Colorado Springs.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, attending the local high school sporting events, and was a huge Colorado sports fan, especially the Denver Broncos.  He was a devoted Michael Jordan fan.

He is survived by his wife Heather; two daughters, Mikaela and Brianna; one son, Andrew; mother, Helen Murschel; sister, Ann (Jason) Teeters; and brother, Michael (Joletta) Murschel, all of Colorado Springs.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Murschel.

Steve had many accomplishments in life, but his biggest and most proud were his children.  He had a strong bond with each one that will never be broken.  Even though he is no longer physically here, his spirit will always be with us and he will always be in our hearts.
