1928 ~ 2019

Master Sergeant James (Jim) Richard Spenner, age 90, passed away on May 5th, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on July 3rd, 1928 and spent the majority of his childhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

James enlisted in the United States Army as soon as he was eligible to do so. In the Army, he served in Vietnam and was stationed at various places across the world. He served 27 years and earned multiple Bronze Stars for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces.

James is survived by his brother, Thomas Spenner; his daughter, Carolyn Spenner; his son, Daniel Spenner; three grandchildren, Justin Spenner, Erin Hutchinson, and Jason Spenner; and 4 great-grandchildren, Carter, Adeline, Jack, and Sophia.
