David Michael Draper (Mikey Dave)

He is survived by his Father John & Jan Draper and mother Constance & Tom Shutt. David Draper is also survived by 14 siblings and several nephews, nieces as well as many great nieces and great nephews. David loved playing guitar and working with his hands. He lived most of his life in Canon City Colorado where he worked as a cook and as a logger in the mountains of Colorado. He was most at home in the mountains or down by the Arkansa River. Some would even say that the river was like a second home to him. As he worked helping clear the forest of the downed and burned trees from the Four Mile Canyon fire he taught himself how to make custom canes from some of the wood he collected. David was a kindhearted and gentle person with a laugh that was contagious. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
