Michelle Lyn “Mouse”  Holkum, age 51, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on November 17, 2018 in her home surrounded by friends and family, after a brave fight with cancer.

Born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri on April 14, 1967 of SarahJane (Wilt) Deel and Howard Deel. After early childhood in Ohio, she was raised by SarahJane and Gary Adams in Colorado. She attended Pueblo County High School and graduated from Rutherford B. Hayes High School (Ohio). She went on to attend Pueblo Community College to earn an associate degree in Accounting. She worked at Avondale Water.

Preceded in death by grandparents Robert George Wilt, Mary Ethel Wilt, Willoughby Deel and Merida Deel and stepmother Patsy Deel.

Survived by Husband, Donald Holkum II, Parents SarahJane and Gary Adams and Howard Deel, Sister Jill Brown, Brothers Tyler Adams (Liz), Chad Deel, Tommy Adams, Sons Donavan Deel (Jody), Gary Childs (Erin) Nathaniel Childs, Nieces Malissa Henkleman (Kevin), Lizbeth, Talia, Analiese Adams, Jamie Deel,  Nephews James Joyce (Angel), Justin Irwin C.J. Deel, stepchildren Megan Mosher (Wade), James Holkum, Sarah Holkum and Jonathan Holkum (Ashley), grandchildren, Nalani Deel, Jaylon Carlson, Gavin Carlson, Nathaniel Childs, Natalie Childs, Violet Childs, Aysiah, Ceilli, Kallysa Rude, Kennedy Rude and Holt Mosher, Hadley Holkum Hayden Holkum, Great Nephews, Kavin Irwin, Kaleb Joyce, Zephyr Henkleman;  Great Niece Kaia Joyce, Mavis Henkleman. Caretaker and Friend Deyon Witte and many other friends.

Michelle was a compassionate and loving person with a heart for children. She helped raise many children in crisis as her own. No person was a stranger and after she met anyone they were family. She was baptized at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Pueblo and attended First Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs.
