1943 ~ 2018
Jeannette Rose Scharbach was born on December 15, 1943. She was born in Salem, Oregon, and raised in Stayton, Oregon. Her mother was Rosamond Jane Hendricks, and her father Clarence Edward Hendricks. She had eleven siblings, six brothers, and five sisters, their names were: Michael, Yvonne, Dolores, James, Jerome, Mary, John, Carl, Charles, Kenneth, and Agnes.
She grew up on a farm where they grew their own fruits, vegetables, and livestock. She would help with canning, pears, peaches, and beans. She would also help with making applesauce, sauerkraut and pickles. After she graduated from St. Boniface High School in 1962, She worked as an aide and practical nurse for a while before meeting her husband Gary.
She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, board games and playing her tablet. She loved knitting blankets, shirts, hats, and just about anything! When she was younger, she was in bowling leagues. She loved to bowl, and she was great at it! She loved the color purple. She loved everything and everything purple. She loved to smile, and loved to give big hugs. She loved meeting new people every chance that she had. She was always willing to help anyone who needed it, regardless of how she felt at the time. She loved to attend church service any chance that she had. She attended Colorado Springs Baptist Church, and looked forward to service, and fellowship. She had a strong relationship with the Lord, and had so much love for people, even strangers.
She loved to sing and dance any chance that she had. She enjoyed worshiping at home while listening to Hymns on spotify. Her favorite music was Christian music, Hymns, and Elvis Presley. Her favorite songs were: How great thou art, Amazing grace, Crimson stain, 10,000 reasons, Soul on fire, and God’s not dead. She loved to watch CSI, NCIS, Blueblood, Law&Order, and the Hallmark Channel. Her favorite movies were all the Disney movies and Christian movies.
She loved food! Her favorite breakfast was biscuits&gravy, her favorite drink was hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Her favorite foods were meat loaf, barbecue, and southern comfort food.
She met Gary Scharbach at a Lake in Oregon. She married Gary on September 19, 1970. She had three children Brenda Long, Scott Scharbach, and Chris Scharbach. She worked at the Western Forge making Craftsman tools. She also worked at the PX in multiple locations throughout the world.
She loved to attend church service any chance that she had. She attended Colorado Springs Baptist Church, and looked forward to service, and fellowship. She had a strong relationship with the Lord, and had so much love for people, even strangers.
