1942 ~ 2018

Karen Kay Geis was born July 01, 1942, to Cecil and Luella Brown.  Passed away unexpectedly, on  January 07, 2018  while recovering from pneumonia and sepsis. She was born in Tracy Minnesota, and lived in; Shakopee Minnesota, Colorado Springs, Co, Casa Grande, Arizona, and then returned to Colorado Springs in 2013. She worked most of her life in the medical field as both an RN and Nurse Practitioner.  She had many varied hobbies and interests. Christmas season was where her hobbies blossomed, it was her favorite time of year , and sadly, she did not get to celebrate it  this year, due to her illness. She was proceeded in death by her parents , her sister Phyllis, both her brothers Lowell and Virgil, her infant son Jackie, her granddaughter Ariel,  grandchild Richard, and her husband Wallace Jacob Geis.  She is survived by her  children, Julie(Thomas) Burdette, Jeffrey(Patricia) Block, Jerry(Pamela) Geis, Jenny(Michael) Roland, John Geis, and Jodie Geis, Salenna Geis, Felicia Geis and Michael Geis. Her grandchildren Alex, Danielle, Cody, Cheyenne, Austin, Chandler, Mark, Mathew, Rachel, Melissa, Sheri, Devin , Trevor, Vince, Nathan, Brandon, Rikki Rae ,Anicia, and Makkhi,  . Her great grand children Makenzie, Jonas, Jude, Timmy,  Marcus, David, Scott, Caleb, Zachary, Lily, Piper, Jacob, Alex and Kassandra and a baby under construction..  She was loved by all who knew and met her, and she will be eternally missed.
