Mary J. Barnett,Passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, Nov. 19 at the age of 82. She was born in Brighton, CO. on March 3, 1935 to Tom and Rebecca (Silva) Fresquez. Mary is survived by her three sons Don (Cecelia), Robert (Maria), and Richard Barnett. Grandchildren Donnie, Kailey, and Bronson Barnett. Sisters Helen  John) Whelan, Dorothy Delgado, June (Larry) Goad, Barbara Ortiz and brothers René (Mona) Gutierrez, and George (Molly) Fresquez. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Barnett, brothers Thomas and Dick ‘Cook’ Fresquez, and sister Patsy Cooper. She graduated Trindad High School in 1954 and married Donald on Jan. 28, 1956. Mary enjoyed many activities including baking, needle-point, gardening, nature walks, and spending time with her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place at Alternative Cremation.
