Joseph Duane George Harris 59, died Sunday, October 29, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Joseph was born on September 24, 1958 at March AFB in Moreno Valley, CA. He attended Arizona State and played baseball. He enlisted in the Army and after his service was over he stayed in Colorado Springs. He lived a majority of his life in Colorado Springs, to be near his children and to minister the word to  the homeless in Colorado Springs.

He is survived by his children, James and Joseph Harris: Anigah, Katherine Shadai, and Henrietta Harris: Step sons Brandon Rogers and Henry White; his father, Joseph Harris, three brothers, Robert, Frank, and John Harris: four sisters, Barbara Lee, Carolynn LaMadrid, Gloria Palmer and Lynda Harris Kozonis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mamie Ruth Harris.

Memorial Services will be held at 10 am. Tuesday, November 14th.
