John “Jack” Ronald Hess III, 71, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 18, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 10AM on Sunday, August 27, at Fountain Faith Fellowship Church, located at 11485 Old Pueblo Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80817. The service will be officiated by Pastor Dan Barker. A fellowship meal will be held at Fountain Creek Regional Park following the service.

Jack was born on January 12, 1946 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania to John and Lila Hess and grew up in Atglen, Pennsylvania. He attended Goshen College in Indiana. Jack served as an associate Pastor for many years at The Door Fellowship Church in Williamsport, Pennsylvania; Blue Ridge Gospel Tabernacle in Rocky Mount, Virginia; and most recently at Fountain Faith Fellowship Church in Fountain, Colorado. Jack was an accomplished musician, worship leader, and teacher. He deeply loved his family and was a friend to all. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Ann Crandall Hess; his father John Hess Jr; five daughters: Kim, Becky, Lorie, Chrissy, and Joanna along with their husbands; 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
