Dena Faye Brunner, 54, Colorado Springs, died Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born December 13, 1962 in Rapid City, SD to Alfred and Leona(Terpen) Hamlin. She married Jeffrey Johannessen and they later divorced. She later married Lawrence(Hap) Brunner. Dena worked in the schools as a cook/cashier for Cheyenne Mountain District 12. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence(Hap) Brunner; her siblings, Gerald Heikkinen and Debra Bodine, both of Rapid City, SD; her daughter, Nicole Tardif; and her grandchildren Kristopher, Madalynn, Timothy(LT), and Ruby. She will be greatly missed!
