Robert M. Wheatley Jr., 81, a retired, native of Colorado died June 29, 2017 at his home in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Wheatley was born June 24, 1936 in Aurora, Colorado to Robert Morris and Ruby (Proctor) Wheatley. He was married to Brenda (Thomlinson) Wheatley who preceded him in death.

He is survived by 4 sons, Sonny (Marilyn) Crawford, Jeff (Kelly) Crawford, Rodney (Tina) Crawford, Sheldon (Stefanie) Wheatley of Colorado Springs; three daughters, Cheryl (Steve) Nagey, Zina (Steve) Bonham, both of CA., Robin Jackson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and 1 sister, Dolly Nichols of Aurora, Colorado, and his 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mr. Wheatley served 4 years in the U. S. Navy where he fought in the Korean war. He will be sadly missed.
