1939~2017

Karl Robert Ash

Age 78 passed away June 23rd 2017 peacefully at Swedish Hospital. He was born February 13th 1939 to William Lester and Mary Evelyn (Harris) Ash at their home near Barnes Arkansas and move to Wichita Kansas when he was 3 years old. He attended Plainview Elementary and graduated from West High School. Karl had many hobbies he was a collector and he spent many days metal detecting. Karl was a hunter and fisherman and he spent many days with his family camping and fishing. Karl was preceded by his parents; sisters, Phyllis and Betty; Brothers Billy, Donald, and Kenny; and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by his son Robert Ash, Mike Ash, Carla Ash, stepsons Kenneth and Keith Cox, stepdaughter Sherol Walworth, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Marilyn (Al)Kemmerer, Marjorie Hudson and Patricia Allen and brother Jim Ash. And many nieces and nephews.

No Services were held per Karl’s wishes, there will be a small family gathering and his ashes will be spread at a favorite camping spot.
