1968 ~ 2017
James Einhorn was born on February 26, 1968 in Fort Worth TX. He
passed away on March 15, 2017 at the age of 49. He had been battling
liver disease for some time that had been in remission until he recently
found out the disease had returned. His heart stopped due to
complications from this disease.
James was adopted at 2 weeks of age by Robert B. Einhorn and Patricia
B. Bradford from an adoption agency in Ft. Worth TX. He lived in
Abilene TX for a short time as a baby, but he grew up in Lakewood CO
with his siblings, Libby & Cathie Einhorn.
After high school he went to Columbine Beauty School in Lakewood
CO where he graduated in 1988 and became a hair stylist soon making
his way to Taos, New Mexico, where he quickly became part of that
community. He then moved to El Paso Tx in 2010 where he met and
made his home with Lane Cornforth & Ken Painter. Soon the trio
moved to Colorado Springs in 2011 to be closer to James’s Mother
Patricia and sister Cathie. James built many lifelong friendships with
the broad clientele that sat in his chair as well as those that worked by
his side at Years Ahead Salon, Sami Salon & Spa and Eden Salon.
James had a calling to give, and volunteered at ESM, (Ecumenical
Social Ministries), in Colorado Springs providing free hair cuts to
people in need.
James is preceded in death by his father Robert B. Einhorn who passed
away in June, 2014 in Houston TX and his grandparents Hugh B.
Bradford and Ruth A. Bradford from Wisconsin, and his uncle William
Bradford from Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
James is survived by his mother Patricia B. Einhorn of Lakewood CO,
sisters Elizabeth R. Einhorn of Midland TX, and Catherine A. Einhorn
